Fantasy Football Stock Report: Dolphins optimistic Arian Foster can be “the guy”

“We really need someone to emerge as the guy. … We don’t want to substitute. … We really need one guy to be a three-down back, stay in there for that drive. And there is growing optimism that Foster can be that guy”

Adam H. Beasley – Miami Herald

Nobody’s stock is rising more than Arian Foster’s right now. The Dolphins have come out to say that they want to have one solid back they can use for three downs. Foster has proven that when he’s healthy, he’s an electric runner and as smooth as they come running between the tackles. If he becomes the featured back, he has serious RB1 potential.

“The second-round pick (Sterling Shepard) keeps making play after play — and with the first team. It’s clear he’s going to be a big part of this offense with his ability to make tough, contested catches.”

Jordan Raanan – ESPN

Sterling Shepard is turning heads at Giants practice and the first round pick is looking like a lock to be Eli Manning’s #2 receiver this season. He has serious upside in Ben McAdoo’s offense that’s looking to push the tempo. He’s going in the middle to later rounds, but Shepard offers a huge ceiling with great return possibilities. He’s definitely worth going after in drafts this year.

“ESPN Cleveland’s Tony Grossi says Corey Coleman has looked like the “real deal” so far at Browns camp.”

Tony Grossi – ESPN

The Cleveland Browns are starting to look very interesting with an abundance of talent. Josh Gordon, Corey Coleman, Duke Johnson; the Browns have some serious offensive weapons. The question is, can Robert Griffin III get all of them the ball and make this offense click? With Gordon out the first four games, Coleman should be the #1 guy those weeks. If the reports coming out have any accuracy, Coleman will be a hot commodity.

Two key Seahawks players are close to returning to the field. Thomas Rawls is someone that we monitored earlier with his ankle injury and has a great situation in the departure of Marshawn Lynch. He exploded in his time last year as the featured back, and fantasy owners will be hoping for more of the same this year. As for Graham, he’s working back from his leg injury. Ever since the trade from New Orleans, we all knew Graham’s value would take a hit. It’s very surprising to see it take this much of a hit. Graham went from a consensus top 2 tight end, to a middle tier TE.
