Two big time receivers are back in pads today as Sammy Watkins and Julian Edelman came off the PUP and were practicing Monday morning. This is big for two receivers who are right on the cusp of being solid WR1’s and are currently viewed as elite WR2’s. The injury cloud that hung over these two has passed and you can have full confidence drafting both of these guys this season.
I'm hearing bone bruise for Jordan Matthews, 2 to 4 weeks. Mychal Kendricks is getting hammy MRI but only because of tightness, seems minor.

Big setback here for Matthews, the Eagles’ #1 receiver. Matthews saw a huge drop in production last year after being a consensus pick by Round 4. It could have been the Chip Kelly effect, but nonetheless Matthews continues to trend down as he works his way back to fantasy relevance.
Eric Ebron missed practice this morning, but did attend it without a cast, walking boot, etc. Slight limp, but that's it. That's great news

Looks like Ebron caught a HUGE break regarding his ankle injury. Many thought it was going to be a significant injury that would keep him on the sidelines for quite some time. The fact that he’s walking around sans-boot or cast is a big relief. In the departure of Calvin Johnson, there are plenty of targets to go around in Detroit. We expect Ebron to get a large number of those, especially in the red zone.
Not strictly fantasy:
- Alshon Jeffery has returned from his hamstring injury
- Devante Parker is looking to return to practice soon from his hamstring injury
- Josh Norman will reportedly join FOX as a TV commentator. Brandon Marshall is also a commentator, it would be great to have post game comments from the two of them after matching up against one another.
- Mark Sanchez still can’t beat out Trevor Siemian, and I’m still laughing
