Daily Fantasy Stock Report: Jordy Nelson a “full go” in practice

Every morning we compile the most important fantasy football links of the day for you to stay up-to-date and ahead of your fantasy opponents… This is your number one place for beat writer blabber, injury news, transaction tracking, and fantasy analysis from the experts who taught us a thing or two.

“…Nelson looked on his first day of team (11-on-11) work since tearing the ACL in his right knee more than a year ago… The deep ball over Daniel was the one that stood out. Nelson appeared to make a one-handed catch against solid coverage along the left sideline on a well-placed ball from Rodgers.”

Rob Demovsky – ESPN

Aaron Rodgers’ number one guy is back and looking like his old self again. Nelson appears to have fully recovered from his ACL injury and is back to full strength heading into Week 1. A healthy Jordy is a WR1 lock with elite potential thanks to his deep ball connections with Rodgers and his amazing ability to bring in those toe-tapping sideline catches.

This is more news for Rob Kelley than it is Marshall as the Redskins running back group is being depleted. First Matt Jones suffered a shoulder injury, and now Marshall is hurt which should make Kelley very happy. He’s looked real good in preseason action thus far, and is definitely worth a look in deeper leagues. Especially now with an ailing backfield.

As reported last week, John Brown has had some lingering issues with his concussion and is slowly working back to normal health. This could be worrisome if Brown is unable to be 100% for Week 1. This is a situation to monitor closely as he’s missed time, then returned, and is missing time again.

Kendall Wright just can’t stay healthy, which is HUGE news for our (*my) guy Tajae Sharpe. Wright dealing with hammy injuries leaves more opportunities for Sharpe to continue to shine and take more and more targets. Mariota has already built up a solid rapport with Sharpe this preseason, so Wright missing even more time is just making things more difficult for him going forward. He’s sliding down draft boards very quickly.

“Stills was running a pass route when he pulled up at the end and collapsed along the right sideline in considerable pain.  At one point, Stills did grab the back of a his leg. Coach Adam Gase did not immediately have an update on Stills’ condition. Gase appeared concerned as he spoke with Stills during practice.”

Joe Schad – Palm Beach Post

This is real bad news for Stills who had risen on our latest Big Board Rankings, as leg injuries are never good. Stills was Tannehill’s leading receiver in targets this preseason and was poised for a very good year under Adam Gase. Hopefully this injury is not as bad as it sounds, and Stills can get back out on the field sooner rather than later. He offered serious late round potential and is always a good bet to put up solid touchdown numbers.
