Jerry Jones compares the circumcision of a mosquito to the Tony Romo situation
- Updated: September 6, 2016

There have been many rumors regarding Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo and whether or not to put him on injured reserve to start the season.
There are valid reasons for either decision: First, putting Romo on IR would open up a roster spot, thus allowing the Cowboys to sign a player while he is on IR. By comparison, putting Romo on the active 53-man roster would allow Romo to comeback whenever he is ready, without a time limit.
Jerry Jones had this to say about his decision to keep Romo on the 53-man roster:

I’m not sure how to circumcise a mosquito, but it looks like Jones thinks what’s available on the street is not better than a broken Romo.
Never change, Jerry. Never change.
