With the Thursday games coming up fast, Packers running back Eddie Lacy looks unlikely to go in Week 7. The Packers recently placed James Starks on IR, while trading for former Chief Knile Davis. The backfield has become a mess as wide receiver Ty Montgomery was taking hand offs out of the backfield over supposed backup Randall Cobb. Just know that Lacy probably won’t go, and look elsewhere for replacements than a Packer backup.

The sling is probably more precautionary for Hyde, as he wasn’t forced to miss anytime on Sunday when the supposed injury occurred. I would expect him to shed the sling shortly, but if for some reason it lingers on it’s worth monitoring. Hyde has a nice matchup against the Bucs on Sunday.

Fuller was technically active last week, but was only dressed for emergency purposes (down 14 with 3 minutes to go plus overtime doesn’t qualify?) and didn’t see any snaps. It looks like he will be back to take on Denver which is the opposite of an ideal matchup. He’ll be out there, but don’t expect too much from the speedy rookie.

It was oficially confirmed that Ben Roethlisberger will be out against New England this week. Very rough news for Antonio Brown who will see a dip in his production sans-Ben, along with the other Steelers receivers. Pittsburgh could be forced to lean on Le’Veon Bell more in Ben’s absence, but a date with Tom Brady suggests having to play catch up. Good luck Steelers.

Quick Hits:

  • Packers corner Sam Shields was placed on IR, making the Packers defense a great target for fantasy receivers
  • Eddie Royal missed practice today, making Cameron Meredith even more attractive this week against said Packers secondary above
  • Broncos WR Emmanuel Sanders returned to practice today, he’ll be good to go Monday night
  • Patriots running back Dion Lewis won’t be practicing this week. Have patience Lewis owners, your time will come
