LeSean McCoy injured his hamstring in today's practice. Did it finish. Rex Ryan awaiting results of medical evaluation.

I nearly threw up reading this, as the last thing we want to possibly see is an injured Shady. His fantasy owners nearly died when he was clutching his knee and left the field for a time on Sunday. Now he’s reportedly having problems with his hamstring, which is hopefully just an overblown precaution. He’s been the best RB in the league and it would just be devastating to have him have anything serious. If you own him or want to piss off whoever owns him in your league, pick-up Mike Gillislee, just in-case.
#Packers officially rule out RB Eddie Lacy, as expected. #Bears rule out WR Eddie Royal.
— Ian Rapoport (@RapSheet) October 19, 2016
For you Thursday Night owners, you will be without both Eddie Lacy and Eddie Royal. Lacy was expected to miss time, which immediately makes Knile Davis someone worth actually starting. This also gives Ty Montgomery a boost knowing he could get some touches out of the backfield on top of his receiving numbers.
As for Royal, this makes Cameron Meredith an elite play for TNF. The Packers placed top corner Sam Shields on IR this week, and are in perfect position for Brian Hoyer to take advantage of a weak Green Bay team right now. Zach Miller also becomes a borderline TE1 with Royal’s departure.
DT G. McCoy was back at practice for the #Bucs today but RB D. Martin and DLs R. Ayers and C. McDonald were not during period open to media
— Roy Cummings (@RCummingsFHCN) October 19, 2016
Here’s someone you may have forgotten about. Doug Martin was on track to return after the bye week but has not been able to get into a practice. The Bucs have a juicy matchup against the 49ers, so if Martin can’t go then Jacquizz Rodgers oozes with fantasy potential.
Chip Kelly: It would be a "stretch" for RB Carlos Hyde (shoulder) to play Sunday. #49ers
— Eric Branch (@Eric_Branch) October 19, 2016
As we reported yesterday, Hyde was seen in a sling nursing a shoulder injury. With him likely out for Sunday, this gives backup Shaun Draughn a chance to return to his serviceable 2015 form. Mike Davis would also be in line for work, probably operating as the early down guy.
Stefon Diggs returned to practice today, a good sign for Sunday's game.
— Matt Vensel (@mattvensel) October 19, 2016
Diggs returned to practice today which is a great sign that he’ll be available Sunday. The Vikings travel to Philly to take on the Eagles, which isn’t a good matchup, but Diggs will be there if you absolutely need him.
No Levy, Ngata, Ebron or Riddick at Lions practice. No Pettigrew or Bostic either. Corey Fuller back of PUP though. Ebron running on side.
— Justin Rogers (@Justin_Rogers) October 19, 2016
Lions RB Theo Riddick missed practice again today and his status for Sunday isn’t looking very promising. He missed last week, allowing Zach Zenner to fill into his role, but it would be great to have Riddick back for a plus matchup against the Redskins.
Quick Hits
- Jordan Reed (concussion) returned to practice to participate in individual drills today
- Will Fuller (hamstring) also returned to practice today, he’ll be all set for Denver (woof)
- Giants receiver Odell Beckham Jr did not practice today. More precautionary than anything major, he’ll be expected to go in London
- Not that you are starting him (I hope) but Joe Flacco did not practice today. He’s questionable for Week 7, and if he’s out then all Ravens receivers take a massive hit ranking wise. Ryan Mallett, woof!
