Tier 1 – Potential Top Scorers
The matchups aren’t kind for our usual top options, making this a tighter tier than normal.
1) Tom Brady (NE) vs. SEA
2) Matt Ryan (ATL) @ PHI
3) Aaron Rodgers (GB) @ TEN
4) Cam Newton (CAR) vs. KC
Tier 2 – QB1s
5) Ben Roethlisberger (PIT) vs. DAL – The home / away splits are shocking, with Ben playing a hell of a lot braver when at Heinz.
6) Philip Rivers (SD) vs. MIA
7) Carson Palmer (ARI) vs SF
8) Marcus Mariota (TEN) vs. GB
9) Dak Prescott (DAL) @ PIT – Since Week 1, Dak hasn’t dipped below 18 fantasy points, and has topped 20 in three straight. Whether on the real or virtual gridiron, the guy is a stud.
10) Drew Brees (NO) vs. DEN
11) Russel Wilson (SEA) @ NE – And just as I bury him for dead, Wilson breaks out for 26 FPs thanks to two passing and one rushing TD. More importantly, he looked a whole lot healthier versus the Bills. In a game where he’ll likely be playing catch up, Wilson again has 20+ FP upside.
12) Jamies Winston (TB) vs. CHI
Tier 3 – Upside QB2s
13) Eli Manning (NYG) vs. CIN
14) Carson Wentz (PHI) vs. ATL – Despite his recent struggles, a helping of Atlanta’s crap secondary should remedy Wentz’s woes. He’s among my favorite streamers this week.
15) Andy Dalton (CIN) @ NYG
16) Joe Flacco (BAL) vs. CLE
17) Trevor Siemian (DEN) @ NO – Colin Kaepernick put up 280 yards in THE FIRST HALF versus this non-existent defense. Demaryius and Emmanuel should run wide open all day.
Tier 4 – Last startable options
18) Blake Bortles (JAC) vs. HOU
19) Jay Cutler (CHI) @ TB
20) Colin Kaepernick (SF) @ ARI
