Just to add more confusion to the mess, Thomas Rawls looks to return for Week 11 to the Seahawks backfield. Last game saw CJ Prosise supplant Christine Michael as the starter, but throwing Rawls back into the mix makes this a disaster. Prosise actually looked very good in his featured debut, but Rawls has the experience and big play ability shown last season.

Larry Fitzgerald took a big hit last game that saw him go head over heels and right to the bench. The team will monitor him over the course of the week, but it seems to just be all precautionary to make sure he’s good for Sunday. Fitz was a target machine in the offense, and will be needed against a struggling Vikings team has looked extremely vulnerable the last four weeks.

“He (Dion Lewis) wouldn’t have been on the injury report,” Patriots coach Bill Belichick said on Monday’s conference call. “I mean, we didn’t activate him until Saturday, but he wouldn’t have been on the injury report.” – Kevin Duffy: MassLive.com

Dion Lewis was activated from the PUP list on Saturday and some thought he might see the field against Seattle. That was not the case last night as he was inactive and James White operated as the receiving back. The key here is that Lewis is likely fully healthy, but was only inactive because of his limited time working with the offense and his conditioning. With more practices to get his chemistry back while rounding into form, Lewis could be a valuable asset in the coming weeks.

The Falcons will get one of their explosive playmakers back  Week 12 with the return of Tevin Coleman. Coleman has been out since Week 8, leaving Devonta Freeman as the lead and sole back. His return would really help QB Matt Ryan, as the RB has had a nose for the end zone while acting as a great receiving back this season. Owners will welcome him back with the lack of depth at running back this time of year.

Quick Hits

  • Vikings coach Mike Zimmer “has no idea” if Adrian Peterson will return this season. I wouldn’t hold my breath there Mike.
  • Steelers receiver Markus Wheaton is seeing a specialist for his injured shoulder. He could use a new pair of hands while he’s at it.
  • Gus Bradley says he has no intentions of benching QB Blake Bortles anytime soon. Not sure who else could clean up in garbage time better to be honest.
