What a roller coaster 20 hours for a roller coaster of a player. We told you yesterday that Pete Carroll completely ignored Christine Michael‘s name when talking about their running back situation, he was then cut shortly after and now he’s been claimed off waivers by the RB-less Green Bay Packers. We all know his story by now; Michael is loaded with talent, but he has a 2 cent head and seems like a locker room cancer. The Packers have James Starks at running back, but we all know he’s not a full-time guy. If you have room and he’s available, throw a waiver wire add at him — since he was probably dropped by a million people yesterday. It can’t hurt.

Rob Gronkowski was unable to make a celebrity appearance on Tuesday in New York, and he was not seen at the media portion of practice on Wednesday. With the Patriots flying cross country to San Francisco on Sunday, it would be smart to believe that he will be out for Week 11. This will mean a big boost to Martellus Bennett and Julian Edelman, who will replace Gronk’s targets. Hopefully he can call up his boy Goon to fire up the Gronk Bus for Week 12’s game in New York against the Jets.

This is very good news after Jordan Howard did not return to the game on Sunday. There were rumors floating around the internet from our man John Fox, saying that it could either be an ankle or a dreaded Achilles injury for Howard. Fortunately, Howard returned to practice and looks like he’ll be ready to go for Week 11.

With Christine Michael out of the picture, it looked like Thomas Rawls would rule the early-downs, while C.J. Prosise manned passing downs. Well, it does not look that way as of right now. Understandably, Rawls has not played in a very long time and needs to get his legs right before he takes the majority of the carries, so it looks like Prosise will be the man against the Eagles. We saw what Prosise could do as the lead guy on Sunday against the Patriots and if your league is one of the idiotic 48% on Yahoo where Prosise is still availble, add him NOW.

Quick Hits:

  • Bruce Arians is planning to stick Patrick Peterson to Stefon Diggship all game long
  • Ty Montgomery (undisclosed) missed Wednesday’s practice, he was cute for about two weeks, but he is now droppable
  • Jeremy Maclin (groin) is still sitting out of practice
  • Larry Fitz (knee) sat out practice on Wednesday to rest his old bones
