NFL Playoffs Fantasy Football 2017: RSJ Experts Draft Standings

Wild Card Weekend is in the books. See who's sitting pretty after the first batch of games.

Reflecting on Wild Card Weekend, we’re going to bring you the standings of the 2017 NFL Playoffs Fantasy Football Experts Draft. Let’s see which teams are sitting pretty and who has no shot at the RSJ Playoff Title.

RSJ Experts League Standings through Wild Card Weekend

1. The Wolf – 91.64 Fantasy Points, 1 Elimination

Roster Refresher:

  • QB1: Aaron Rodgers – 30.48
  • QB2: Matt Moore – 9.76
  • RB1: Thomas Rawls – 22.7
  • RB2: Tevin Coleman —
  • WR1: Antonio Brown – 26.9
  • WR2: Jordy Nelson – 1.8
  • TE: Martellus Bennett —
  • Flex: Chris Hogan —

The Wolf’s team is looking solid/borderline untouchable. The Packers stack proved to be one of the best playoff decisions –barring Jordy Nelson’s injury — and Dallas will have their hands full, even in Jerry’s World. Also, Thomas Rawls coming up against Atlanta could set him up for another big day on the ground so right now, Wolf is the front-runner.

2. The Kid – 79.62 Fantasy Points, 1 Elimination

Roster Refresher:

  • QB1: Alex Smith —
  • QB2: Brock Osweiler – 17.22
  • RB1: Le’Veon Bell – 30.4
  • RB2: LeGarrette Blount —
  • WR1: Davante Adams – 22.5
  • WR2: Malcolm Mitchell —
  • TE: Jimmy Graham – 5.2
  • Flex: Michael Crabtree – 4.3

With only a flex elimination and a 20 point cushion from third place, The Kid looks to be in a solid spot heading into the second week of the playoffs. Davante Adams may serve as a huge fantasy piece following Nelson’s injury and we’ll have to see if Kid can catch up to The Wolf.

3. CJay – 57.86 Fantasy Points, 1 Elimination

Roster Refresher:

  • QB1: Dak Prescott —
  • QB2: Russell Wilson – 16.66
  • RB1: Lamar Miller – 13.3
  • RB2: Jay Ajayi  – 6
  • WR1: Doug Baldwin – 21.9
  • WR2: Michael Floyd —
  • TE: Travis Kelce —
  • Flex: James White —

CJay got a lot out of Russell Wilson and Doug Baldwin on Saturday, which is nice seeing how inconsistent Seattle’s pass attack was this season. Maybe things are looking up however, putting CJay in a solid spot as the Seahawks have a very winnable game against the Falcons approaching.

4. JimboSlice – 45.68 Fantasy Points, 0 Eliminations

Roster Refresher:

  • QB1: Ben Roethlisberger – 14.88
  • QB2: Matt Ryan —
  • RB1: Devonta Freeman —
  • RB2: Ty Montgomery – 8.3
  • WR1: Julio Jones —
  • WR2: DeAndre Hopkins – 15.2
  • TE: Jared Cook – 7.3
  • Flex: Cole Beasley —

Jimbo’s team is in a really good spot. Zero eliminations is all you can ask for after Wild Card Weekend. Big Ben will likely have to pass more than the 18 times he did on Sunday so next week should be full of fantasy points for JimboSlice.

5. ForeCaster – 33.56 Fantasy Points, 3 Eliminations

Roster Refresher:

  • QB1: Tom Brady —
  • QB2: Eli Manning – 13.06
  • RB1: Dion Lewis —
  • RB2: Spencer Ware —
  • WR1: Odell Beckham – 4.8
  • WR2: Tyreek Hill —
  • TE: Ladarius Green – 0.00
  • Flex: Jarvis Landry – 15.7

I had to take a risk on the Giants and it didn’t pay off for me at all. Jarvis Landry gave me what I expected before his single game exit but the loss of Eli Manning and OBJ are going to be a hurter, but don’t count me out with Tom Brady waiting to explode.

6. The Truth – 27.74 Fantasy Points, 4 Eliminations

Roster Refresher:

  • QB1: Matthew Stafford – 9.7
  • QB2: Connor Cook – 4.44
  • RB1: Ezekiel Elliott —
  • RB2: Latavius Murray – 11.6
  • WR1: Julian Edelman —
  • WR2: Dez Bryant —
  • TE: Jason Witten —
  • Flex: Amari Cooper – 2

Everyone who played for The Truth this weekend is officially out, leaving his team in a bad spot. With no quarterbacks left, Truth has to bank on the Cowboys winning against the Packers or his chances at climbing out of this hole are all but diminished.
