What was believed to be a “couple of weeks” injury turned out to be a regular season ending one for CJ Anderson. Tough news for his owners, but hopefully you went ahead and already stashed Devontae Booker in your lineups. Booker becomes a borderline RB1 the remainer of the season, after displaying his potential last week.

Here’s a pro tip for all of you out there: DO NOT START LESEAN MCCOY THIS WEEK. There you go, nice and easy. Rex Ryan goes and fucks up one of the best RBs in the league’s hammys before their biggest game of the season. Hopefully Rex just rests McCoy this week and lets him heal over the bye. Mike Gillislee should be a nice streamer at RB in McCoy’s likely absence.

Matt Forte missed practice today but apparently is in no danger of missing Sunday’s game. It’s just something to keep an eye on because the Jets face Cleveland this week meaning Forte could go off for another 30+points.

Big news for Devonta Freeman who was previously practicing in a non-contact jersey. Now he’s in full and ready to go for Sunday against Green Bay. Despite Green Bay having the best run defense, Tevin Coleman is expected to miss Sunday’s game meaning a full workload for Freeman.

Vikings running back Jerick McKinnon missed practice today which is not good news. Luckily, the Vikings don’t play until Monday night which gives them an extra day to be ready. If McKinnon were to miss the game however, the ultimate vulture Matt Asiata is the lone guy in the backfield upgrading from vulture to war eagle.

Quick Hits:

  • Redskins tight end Jordan Reed was cleared to travel to London, while running back Matt Jones missed practice again
  • Patriots running back Dion Lewis returned to practice today. Watch out NFL, Winter/The Patriots is/are coming
  • Lions RB Theo Riddick also returned to practice. He’ll be good to go Sunday
  • The Cleveland Browns look as if they will be starting Josh McCown Sunday which is good for Terrelle Pryor and Gary Barnidge
  • Redskins corner Josh Norman resumed practicing today, sorry AJ Green
  • It was announced Vine will be dead relatively soon. Here’s one of my all-time favorites. So fucking cute
