HUGE news for all AJ Green owners still alive in the playoffs as Green is expected back at practice this week. We still don’t know whether or not we should be expecting him to play on Sunday, but if he does that would be great for his owners. It’s a puzzling move because the Bengals are all but done this year, so rushing back their star receiver wouldn’t make much sense. If he’s good to go though, owners will welcome him back with open arms.

The other big news of the week was the injury suffered by Ryan Tannehill. It’s labeled as an ACL/MCL sprain right now, but the team will get another look just in case it’s something more serious. He’s done for the fantasy playoffs, which is bad news for Jarvis Landry, DeVante Parker and Kenny Stills owners. With Matt Moore at QB, it’s tough to imagine much of a passing game to take form.

Receiver Julio Jones is coming along slowly from his toe injury that forced him out Week 14. Fantasy owners need to have Jones back, and have him back at full strength for a playoff push. Sounds like he’ll still be hampered come Wednesday, so keep checking to see if he improves over the course of the week.

Coach Kubiak is asking for his RB Devontae Booker to start producing with his carries. Those requests can be echoed from fantasy owners looking for a run heavy offense to produce a low RB1/high RB2 in such a scarce position. Big things were expected of Booker, and we’re all waiting those thoughts to become reality.

Quick Hits:

  • Cardinals receiver Michael Floyd was arrested for drunk driving last night. Opens the door for more Larry Fitzgerald and JJ Nelson targets so I’m not complaining
  • Lions coach Jim Caldwell confirmed that Matthew Stafford will play Sunday after a dislocated finger injury. These NFL players need to work on their finger exercises
  • Still no word/response/talk about deflated Steelers balls. Wonder why that is? Hmmmmm…….
