Calvin Ridley Continues Scorching Sophomore Start, Rises up ROS Fantasy Big Board

Calvin Ridley continues to eat across from Julio Jones and he's transformed into an every-week fantasy star.

Falcons receiver Calvin Ridley was a popular candidate for a sophomore slump year, but so far in 2019 that has been far from the case. In his last Monday Night Football contest against the Eagles, Ridley caught 8-of-10 targets for 105 yards and a touchdown. On his 34 yard touchdown, he beat Eagles corner Ronald Darby deep, giving him a score in back-to-back games.

Through two contests, Ridley has caught 12-of-16 balls for 169 yards and two scores. The Falcons offense has gotten little to no help from its running game so QB Matt Ryan has been forced to carry the load with the passing game. Ridley is actually keeping pace with Julio Jones right now in all aspects of receiving stats.

Ridley sees an upcoming schedule of at Indianapolis, vs Tennessee and at Houston. He’s currently sitting as right around the WR10 scoring wise at the moment and has seemingly entered WR2 territory.

Listed at #46 overall (WR20) in Wolf’s Rest of Season Big Board, he’s a reliable pass catcher in a pass happy offense playing plenty of dome games in 2019.
