RSJ’s Jackson Barrett created a value-based drafting Excel tool to create the preseason values for this Fantasy Football Trade Value Chart. The tool uses the FantasyPros consensus projections to assign values based on a 12-team, full PPR league.
Each week throughout the season, these values will be altered to reflect the player’s value for the rest of the season. Changes made to player’s value will be based on FantasyPros Rest of Season ECR, results from the season thus far, and The Wolf’s Rest of Season Rankings. But for the most part, the below values should generally reflect consensus rankings. The values provided also allow for comparing player values across positions, not just within one positional group.
For more information on how to make successful deals, check out our strategies for negotiating trades.
Be sure to tune back each week throughout the season. We’ll be adjusting the chart, discussing risers & fallers, and pinpointing trade targets.
The trade value chart for each position is linked below.
Fantasy Football Week 2 Trade Value Chart: Wide Receivers
Wide Receiver Riser
Yeah, Nico Collins is the real deal. He is the clear alpha of this offense and has ascended into the elite tier of WRs with C.J. Stroud under center. Stroud is quickly becoming one of the best young gunslingers in the NFL and Collins is his go-to option.
We’re talking about a guy who went out against a talented Chicago secondary, earned a target on 30 percent of his targets, and torched them for 135 yards and a score. This all came while playing alongside Stefon Diggs and Tank Dell.
There were clues of Collins being a truly elite option last season. Through two games, he has left no doubt that he belongs with the big boys.

Ranking Collins ahead of Ja’Marr Chase may seem a tad aggressive, but he’s left us no choice. Collins has been that good.
Wide Receiver Fallers
Amari Cooper simply cannot get on the same page as Deshaun Watson. It’s not like Watson has just been going other places with the ball; Cooper has been targeted on 20 percent of his routes and has a 26-percent first-read rate.
The issue is simply production. Cooper has an abysmal 29-percent catch rate and has just 0.31 yards per route run. No, that’s not a typo. Cooper isn’t helping himself either; he has four drops in just two games.

There is some reason to hold out hope on Cooper. His target share is respectable and he currently ranks 5th in total air yards. If he can just convert his looks into receptions and yards at a higher rate, a bounce-back is very possible.
Wide Receiver Trade Target
Chris Olave was last week’s trade target and we’re circling right back this week. I could go on and on about what Klint Kubiak has done for the offense, but if you’re an NFL fan, I’m sure you’re aware that this offense has transformed. Go check out the blurb on Alvin Kamara in the RB Trade Value Chart to see some interesting numbers about New Orleans’ impressive offensive performance.
At the end of the day, we want talented players in high-end offenses. Olave checks both of these boxes. He may not have packed the stat sheet on Sunday, but he earned a target on nearly half of his routes. He also led the team in air yards share. Even with the emergence of Rashid Shaheed, Olave remains the clear No. 1 option.
The big days will come, just be patient. If the Olave manager in your league is Captain Box Score Watcher, take advantage and scoop up the WR1 on a budding offensive powerhouse.
