RSJ’s Jackson Barrett created a value-based drafting Excel tool to create the preseason values for this Fantasy Football Trade Value Chart. The tool uses the FantasyPros consensus projections to assign values based on a 12-team, full PPR league.
Each week throughout the season, these values will be altered to reflect the player’s value for the rest of the season. Changes made to player’s value will be based on FantasyPros Rest of Season ECR, results from the season thus far, and The Wolf’s Rest of Season Rankings. But for the most part, the below values should generally reflect consensus rankings. The values provided also allow for comparing player values across positions, not just within one positional group.
For more information on how to make successful deals, check out our strategies for negotiating trades.
Be sure to tune back each week throughout the season. We’ll be adjusting the chart, discussing risers & fallers, and pinpointing trade targets.
The trade value chart for each position is linked below.
Fantasy Football Week 5 Trade Value Chart: Tight Ends
Tight End Riser
Tucker Kraft is turning the tight end position on its head. He’s combined for 42.1 points in the last two weeks, 18 of which have come from three trips to the end zone.
Based on his usage (14 targets across two games), the 21 PPG is quite clearly unsustainable. He is not going to continue to perform at prime Travis Kelce levels. However, this doesn’t mean he can’t be viewed as a starting tight end.
The tight end position is barren and Kraft has been one of the few bright spots in recent weeks. The Packers’ offense will perform at high levels with Jordan Love under center and Kraft will be part of that success as an underneath weapon. He should be viewed as a low-end starter moving forward
Tight End Faller
David Njoku is slipping down the rankings and it’s not really at any fault of his own. First off, he simply can’t stay healthy. He is now dealing with his second injury of the year, a knee issue that required an MRI.
The injuries are minor in comparison to what he’s dealing with at quarterback. Deshaun Watson is clearly not fit to be an NFL starter and it’s impacting the Cleveland pass catchers quite heavily. Several statistics point to Watson’s start to the year being one of the worst of all time.
Deshaun Watson's 4.8 YPA this season is the lowest through 5 games in NFL history among QBs with 170+ attempts.

There’s this one as well.. Watson isn’t exactly in good company.

Until a quarterback change is made in Cleveland, it’s hard to feel comfortable with Njoku in your lineup. This is pretty disappointing to say of a player who was the TE1 from Week 8 onwards in 2023.
